Our family took a 2 week long driving vacation this summer. Here are a few highlights:
Boise, Idaho
Our first night after hitting the road in Boise, ID. Old Chicago Pizzaria is Dave's fave.
Salt Lake City, UT
We visited Uncle Morgan's new apartment in Salt Lake City, and of course say "hello" to Pancho Villa (my dad's famous velvet painting!)
After we hook up with Uncle Adam (in orange) and Uncle Morgan (in grey) our first priority becomes....Wienerschnitzel.

Welcome to Delta, UT!!
Grandpa Boyd and Grandma Florence at Top's Cafe for breakfast. After breakfast we headed out to their farm.
Luke and Dartanian 2 on the farm. Dartanian 2 was one of 4 kittens newly adopted. Don't ask what happened to Dartanian the First (aka Dartina.) It's too sad to tell....

Our evening with Grandpa Church (recently turned 93!) was very pleasant and filled with the songs of birds.CEDAR CITY, UTAH
Upon arrival we saw the matinee of Cyrano de Bergerac at the Southern Utah University's Shakespearean Festival. The 2nd half was a total tear jerker.....

The Broderick Family Reunion reunited us with Morgan and Mom.

At this point Luke and I flew home while Dave, Adam, and Mike drove to Denver to meet up with Dave's dad for a biking adventure.

Mike and Dave began their bike trip by dropping Uncle Adam off at Mom's work place. TDO was so excited....

Mike, Dave, and Grandpa Dan at the top of Vail Pass @ 10,600 feet above sea level. The guys climbed 3000 feet in elevation in 7 miles during the 50 mile ride!
